Did you know the Bible says that ETERNAL LIFE IS THE GIFT OF GOD? Carefully read these 3 verses of Scripture.

Rom. 6:23, "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."

Eph. 2:8, "For by grace are you saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God.

Eph 2:9, "Not of works, lest any man should boast."

We can't earn salvation. We can't do enough good deeds or live a good enough life to earn eternal life. The only way we can have eternal life is to receive Jesus Christ.

Eternal life is the gift of God.

You may wonder, "How can I receive the gift of God?"

1. Confess that you have sinned.
(Rom 3:23) "For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God;"

2. Repent of your sin.
 (2 Cor 7:10) "For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death. "
(Acts 3: 19) "Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out,..."

3. Call on Jesus to Forgive You.
(Rom 10:13) "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."

4. Believe in your heart.
(Rom 10:9) "...if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved."

5. Tell others of your decision.
(Rom 10:11) "...Whosoever believeth on Him shall not be ashamed."
